I met Darren through a professional networking group, BNI in 2014, shortly after opening my fitness studio Transformation Wellness Center. As I started setting up the marketing tools Darren helped me edit my profile for on line accounts. Because he is also interested in fitness he signed up for private sessions and kindly agreed to be a model, showing the movements for my website. Darren facilitated an opportunity for our Buddhist Temple to donate items that were not sold at an annual Bazaar to a non-profit organization that supports the homelessness population, and continues to be a great resource for us in this area of community service. His passion to help the underserved is an example for all. After getting to know Darren my husband and I decided that he would be a trusted person to help us prepare our Will, Medical Directives and Estate Planning. Darren helped us through the unfamiliar process with patience and respect. I have enjoyed getting to know Darren and valued his friendship. .

Friendly and Firm Financial Guidance I worked with Darren to review my options for two 401k packages with very different contributions. Darren's guidance to convert one of the accounts to a Roth IRA gave me the confidence to reach even further in my career and make eventual retirement a comforting reality. He was pragmatic and passionate, with the ever-curious insight to understand my financial history and my industry as a whole. I’ve been lucky to have met Darren in my early college years. He was the single person that our entire group of friends looked to for advice in all matter, whether school, finances, family, or social situations – we always knew that we could count on Darren whose wisdom was well beyond our years. He never hesitated to help others even if meant taking time away from himself and conducting his own work. I don’t know how he managed to do it, but it seemed like he didn’t hinder his grades because he managed to out do all of us in academics. The one thing that was most apparent was his how much he was liked by everyone he came in contact with. Our group of friends grew larger and closer because of his welcoming nature, and general well meaning for all. There’s no doubt that all of these people were drawn to his warmth, but also stayed close because of his trustworthiness. Still today, after almost 20 years, I count Darren as my closest and most trusted friend.
